Jim Ouellette found this 1902 Indian Head Penny about seven inches down near a tree, and the copper and steel Wheaties off a beach.
Jim uses an older Tesoro Compadre with the seven inch coil. He says, "It's been a blast to use, and after a couple hours a week using it I've found piles of clad coins, some silver jewelry, and just recently these coins. The Compadre is an easy to use yet highly capable machine".

I was hunting an area swimming hole,
hadn’t found much but a little pocket change in two hours and I was about
to head for home when I got a great signal and pulled this up. Pretty excited
at first because I thought it might be white gold and a diamond. Through the United
States Bowling congress office I was able to get the phone number of the owner. I spoke to his mom who told me it wasn’t gold
but the stainless steel version…oh well, I’m sure he was sad to
lose the ring in any case. I talked to the owner and learned that he hadn’t
actually lost the ring, he was pretty sure it was stolen by his college
roommate. In any case, I’m going to pop it in the mail to him, or
he’s going to stop by the farmers’ market in Minneapolis this
Saturday to pick it up.
Mindy Desens found this ring using a Fisher 1280-X.

a 1926 Wheatie.
Looks like it was all found with a couple of Garrett detectors.
